Certified.
How to be Claude certified, for free:
I just got 3x Claude Certifications in 6 hours.
For free.
Before I jump into “how to get it” and “why”, a quick warning.
People are selling viral “Claude Certifications” online right now.
They are all scams.
Anthropic does not endorse a single one of them.
There are exactly 3 real Claude certificates I would put on LinkedIn today.
All free, issued by Anthropic (Claude’s parent company). And I just did all 3.
Here’s how you can do it too (& add it to your Linkedin).
Before starting, I want you to do two things:
Save this & block 1 hour this week to get your Claude Certification.
Send it to anyone who is looking for a job and need a little boost.
PS: This newsletter grows from your shares. And I keep hitting 1,000+ shares! It’s my weekly north star. Sharing is free & helps me stay laser focused on mastering AI.
I - Follow these steps.
Each certification is one hour.
Step 1: Access the right website.
Go to anthropic.skilljar.com. Sign up with your email.
No need to pay for Claude, by the way.
Step 2: Take Claude 101 first (1 hour)
The basics. But it’s quite complete.
Covers what Claude actually is, when to use Chat vs Cowork vs Code, how Projects work, how Skills work, and how to connect Gmail, Drive, Slack…
Covers what Claude actually is, when to use Chat vs Cowork vs Code, how Projects work, how Skills work, and how to connect Gmail, Drive, Slack…
Step 3: AI Fluency: Framework & Foundations (3 hours)
The longest of the 3 certificates. Also the best.
13 lessons on how to actually engage with AI. The 4Ds: Delegation, Description, Discernment, Diligence. Effective prompting. Critical thinking around outputs. The ethics.
If you only had time for 1 of the 3, take this one. It’s the closest thing to taste training you’ll find for free.
There’s a vocabulary cheat sheet inside.
Save it. (You’ll re-read it more than the lessons.)
Step 4: Introduction to Claude Cowork (2 hours)
About the best feature of Claude: Cowork.
Covers what Cowork is, how to access it, Projects, Plugins, Skills, scheduling tasks, file and document handling, research at scale, permissions, and how to pick the right model for the job.
II - Now add them to Linkedin.
You want the certificates to be on your Linkedin.
I just did it for my employee, Axelle:
Go to your profile.
Click “Add section” then “Licenses & certifications.”
Use this exact format:
Name: Claude 101 — Anthropic Academy
Issuing organization: Anthropic
Issue date: today
Repeat for AI Fluency and Introduction to Claude Cowork.
Here are the steps with screenshots:
III - Why should you even care.
Because AI is already in the office.
Stanford’s 2025 AI Index says 78% of organizations used AI in 2024. The year before, it was 55%. That’s a stupidly fast jump.
So when someone checks your LinkedIn, a Claude certificate does one small job: it tells them you’ve actually touched the tool. And that’s less than 2% of the world.
This (little) signal is very strong. It matters.
And PwC found something even more annoying: workers with AI skills get a 56% wage premium on average. Last year, it was 25%. What about next year?
So yes, put the certificate on LinkedIn.
Will it get you hired alone? Probably not.
But it costs $0. It takes a few hours. And it gives you a clean line on your profile that says: “I’m learning the tools people are already using at work.”
That’s enough for me.
I am not paid by Claude to write this.
I don’t care about Claude, or any other AI model.
I don’t pick sides. I’m not paid to make this newsletter.
I’m sharing, twice a week, how my work is changing (very fast) with AI.
As I’m trying to keep up, I want you to keep up.
Remember how I have been begging you to switch to Claude in January, so you stay ahead. Well, I will continue to do so for any future upgrades.
Because I want to be the greatest filter to the AI noise. And 500,000+ people trust me to be their filter. Some came because of my LinkedIn. But most readers subscribed because someone they trusted sent them one of my articles.
If this article helped you, be that person for someone else (and share it):
Sharing does not cost you anything. And it supports my work & your team!
If someone did send you this, thank them and subscribe for free here:
PS: I made my own version of claude101 → claude101.com.

Claude101 is a repo of all of my favorite Claude guides. Only the free ones.
You can share this too with your network. More people need to adopt, faster.

Everybody racing to become “AI certified” while most people still haven’t mastered original thought.
The future won’t belong to the people who know how to prompt machines.
It’ll belong to the people with something real to say before the machine gets involved.
Because if AI disappeared tomorrow, your value should still exist.
I am beyond grateful. I have no clue how I even got here (somehow from LinkedIn) … but feel like a kid at the Giant Toy Store. I have never seen such a rich volume of resources all in one place. Huge *thank you*. 💕
