My best GPT, “Prompt Maker”, has over 1 million users.
How could I turn it into software that anyone can use, without coding it?
This is called “vibe coding”.
Let’s do it together.
From idea → to app.
1. Go to blink.new.
The best app for vibe coding is Blink.
You’ve heard of Lovable, Cursor, or the many (maaanyyy) other vibe coding tools.
But I prefer Blink because:
You don’t need other apps integrated. It’s all in one.
You can monetize your app (connected to your Stripe).
It’s (actually) working, with user login & database and all.
2. Describe what you want
Think about it like ChatGPT, but to build an app.
Pro tip: make it as simple as covering one feature (so it nails it perfectly).
Build a "Prompt optimizer".
I want it as simple as possible.
1. user shares his (bad) prompt.
2. our tool makes it better following system prompts guidelines.
You need to ask me for the system prompt and PDF of "prompting best practices" from OpenAI.
3. Some quick edits, and it’s functional
It took me about 15 minutes to have this app up and running:
It even has a link: https://prompt-optimizer-u7d7mbcr.sites.blink.new/.
it has the functionality needed
it has the branding I asked for
it has monetization (with buy me a coffee)
Quick & easy. But can we build something harder to build?
For example, how can we create software around the new Gemini-nano-banana (the model that makes awesome images and edits from Google)?
Create the simple app that has this user journey:
1. user upload a picture of them.
2. user click "generate my action figure"
3. you will use gemini nano-banana model in the backend
4. you will edit the picture with the following prompt: "Take this photo of me and turn me into a collectible figurine inside a toy box. The box should include a clear plastic window, bold graphics, and my name on the packaging. Style the figurine in a fun, toy-like way but keep my likeness recognizable."
5. the user will receive the picture generated, and they can easily download it or copy it
The result blew me away: https://action-figure-avatar-creator-v960zs11.sites.blink.new. It’s working perfectly. And I did in one shot.
Actually, I was so impressed I had to make a video for you guys:
From rookie → to pro.
I don’t think you and I both should learn how to code. Ever.
There will be developers (coding), and there will be us.
And what we are capable of (without coding) will increase more and more over time. Just like Canva didn’t turn us into designers, but we’re capable of producing some cool graphic elements.
From my experience, mastering anything by yourself is hard.
You need to gamify the experience. It’s a game. And you’re playing it.
A game is better played as a multiplayer one. You need people around you.
You learn from your mistakes. But just as much from others’ mistakes, too.
That’s what I want to build with my member-only community here.
So far, we have a Substack chat (and it’s quite limited, I agree). I’ll soon switch to a member-only Slack channel to discuss, learn & explore together.
